EASTER AT ROSENBERG FIRST
Journey of Stones Series
From Heavy Stones to Living Hope
Journey of Stones invites us to reflect on the stones we carry—burdens, beliefs, habits, and hurts that can weigh down our hearts and shape our lives. Through Scripture, story, and worship, we will explore how God meets us in honest self-examination and offers transforming grace. Each week invites us to lay down what hardens us and receive the healing love of Jesus Christ, the Living Stone. This journey leads us toward the cross with humility and hope, trusting God to build something new within us.
A Daily Journey of Stones toward the Cross
The Journey of Stones Prayer Guide is designed to accompany you through the 2026 season of Lent as we journey toward the cross and the empty tomb. Each day offers a brief passage and related question to help you listen for God’s voice. The guiding question is not one to simply ask yourself, but one to ask God in the context of prayer. As you move through the guide, examine your heart honestly, allow the Spirit to speak, and trust that God is at work, shaping you with grace, truth, and hope.
Lent and Easter Events
Lent invites us into a season of repentance, prayer, and intentional growth in holiness as we open our lives to God’s transforming grace. Holy Week draws us deeper into the story of Jesus’ suffering, death, and self-giving love, calling us to walk closely with Christ through worship and reflection. Easter proclaims the joy of resurrection—celebrating new life, restored hope, and the power of God’s love that continues to renew us and the world.
