Living Out our Mission

Our mission is rooted in loving Jesus and living out that love together and in the world. These four practices shape who we are, how we grow, and how we share God’s grace with others. Each one invites us into a deeper, more faithful way of life.

Love Jesus

We love Jesus by worshiping passionately—together and in our daily lives. When we gather weekly as the body of Christ, we join a rhythm of praise, prayer, Scripture, and sacrament that has shaped God’s people since the earliest church (Acts 2:42–47). In worship, we encounter the living God, are formed by the Spirit, and are knit together in faith and love. As Scripture reminds us, we are called to “go to his dwelling place” and worship the Lord with reverence and joy (Psalm 132:7). This shared worship does not end when the service concludes; it flows into our everyday lives as we seek to honor God with our hearts, our choices, and our whole selves.

Serve the World

We follow Jesus and serve courageously, both inside and outside the church, offering our lives in humble service to others. Jesus teaches that greatness is found not in power, but in servanthood (Matthew 23:11–12), and the early church reminds us that there is deep blessing in giving ourselves away for the sake of others (Acts 20:35). Through acts of compassion, justice, and generosity, we reflect Christ’s love to our neighbors and the world. As we serve, God stretches our faith, calls us beyond our comfort zones, and uses our gifts and experiences to bring hope, healing, and transformation wherever there is need.

Reach the Lost

We share boldly the love of Jesus through our own stories of faith, grace, and belonging to reach the lost. Jesus calls us to go into the world and make disciples, assuring us that he is with us always as we live and share the gospel (Matthew 28:19–20). Reaching others begins not with pressure or perfection, but with authenticity—honestly naming how God’s unconditional love has shaped our lives. As we invite others into community through welcome, relationship, and invitation, God uses our stories to open doors, overcome barriers, and draw people into a life of faith, hope, and connection in Christ.
