Whether you are taking your very first step of faith or continuing your journey with Christ, baptism is a beautiful expression of God's grace at work in your life. We are honored to walk with you as you discern this important step and celebrate God's faithfulness together.

Adult Baptism

If you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ and have never been baptized, baptism is a joyful opportunity to publicly profess your faith and celebrate the new life God has given you. It marks the beginning of a lifelong journey of discipleship lived in the power of the Holy Spirit and within the community of the Church.

Remembering Your Baptism

If you have already been baptized, there is no need to be baptized again. Because baptism is God's work through the Holy Spirit, Methodists celebrate one Christian baptism and instead offer opportunities to remember and reaffirm your baptismal covenant, giving thanks for God's continuing grace and renewing your commitment to follow Christ.

Infant Baptism

In the Wesleyan tradition, we baptize infants as a sign of God's prevenient grace—the love of God that reaches for us before we can respond. Parents and the church promise to nurture children in the Christian faith, praying that one day they will personally profess their faith in Jesus through confirmation or a public profession of faith.
