Family Prayer Outing
Family Prayer Outing - Sunday September 13th
Join us after worship on Sunday September 13th at Rosenberg First Methodist Church as we pray for our neighbors!
On September 13th., after service ends, families are invited to stay for a special Family Prayer Outing.
We'll meet together in the Education Building for pizza and snacks before heading out into a neighborhood for a family prayer walk.
Together, we will:
- Pray over the neighborhood and the families who live there.
- Walk the streets together as families and a church community.
- Hang doorhangers and flyers on doors as an invitation and reminder that our church is praying for the community.
- Look for opportunities to pray for the people, homes, schools, and needs we encounter along the way.
We will carpool together, using the church bus as one of the vehicles.
This is a wonderful opportunity for families to worship, pray, serve, and be the hands and feet of Jesus together. This is also a great opportunity to teach children & youth the importance of loving and praying for our neighbors, and how they can do that in their own neighborhoods and at school.
