Follow Jesus in 2027

What does it mean for you to Follow Jesus in the coming year?

As we prepare for 2027, we are inviting everyone in our church family to prayerfully complete a Follow Jesus Commitment Card. This is more than a planning form—it is an opportunity to pause, pray, and consider where God is calling you to take your next step of faithfulness.

The card invites us to consider how we will Love Jesus, Connect with Others, Serve the World, and Reach the Lost through worship, prayer and Bible study, serving, sharing our stories, inviting others, and giving.

Start with prayer. Ask God, “How can I follow Jesus?” Consider where you are now and what your next step might be. Your response may look different from someone else’s, because we are all at different places in our journey with Christ.

Your commitment also helps us as a church family. These responses help us prayerfully plan our 2027 budgets, ministry and programming priorities, and opportunities to serve our congregation and community. They also help us know how we can encourage and support one another in the places where God is calling us to grow and serve.

Cards are being mailed to our homebound partners, and we want everyone in our church family to have the opportunity to participate. Extra cards are available at both entrances of the Sanctuary and in the church office.

Please take time to pray, complete your card, and return it by Sunday, October 18.

Together, let’s continue to say “yes” to Jesus and live out our mission: Love Jesus. Connect with Others. Serve the World. Reach the Lost.
