Intentional Kingdom Growth this Fall

Jesus promised that He would build His Church. Throughout history, He has done that through ordinary people who simply said, "Here I Am."

At Rosenberg First, we've been praying for God to grow His Kingdom in our community. We've renovated spaces, welcomed new families, strengthened our ministries, and called a Director of Family Ministries to help lead us into this next season. Now it's time for all of us to play our part for the Kingdom.

This fall marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

We're relaunching Children's and Youth Connect Classes using The Gospel Project, a Christ-centered curriculum that helps every generation see how the entire story of Scripture points to Jesus. Children, students, and adults will be studying the same passages each week, making it easier for faith to be lived out at church and at home.

We're also planning to take ministry beyond our campus with three Mobile Movie Nights, bringing fun, hospitality, and conversations about faith into neighborhoods across our community.

And we're preparing to launch MomCo, a ministry designed to encourage and support young mothers through authentic friendships and Christ-centered community. A neighboring Global Methodist Church is ready to partner with us to mentor our new leadership team as we begin.

These ministries aren't simply new programs. They're opportunities to reach families, make disciples, and help people encounter the love of Jesus.

But Kingdom growth happens when God's people each do their part.

Today we're praying for God to raise up:

💛 4 Children's Connect Class teachers to serve on a rotating schedule. Curriculum, supplies, and training will be provided.

💛 3 Youth Connect Class teachers to partner with Mia Yakimow. Curriculum, supplies, and training will be provided.

💛 3 Mobile Movie Night hosts to help coordinate neighborhood events while the church provides the equipment and manpower.

💛 3 MomCo leadership team members to help launch this ministry for young mothers this fall. We anticipate only 7–8 MomCo gatherings between Labor Day and Christmas.

That's just 13 people.

Thirteen people who could help shape the faith of children, encourage students, support young parents, and open doors for new families to discover Christ.

The building renovations are creating beautiful spaces. Now let's fill those spaces with people whose lives are being transformed by Jesus.
