Prayer Hour

πŸ™An Hour to Be with God πŸ™

Sometimes the most meaningful thing we can do is simply slow down and spend time in the presence of God.

We recently asked our congregation to share what makes dedicated prayer time meaningful to them. They described the experience as intentional, focused, uninterrupted communing with God and spoke of the power they experienced kneeling at the altar rail and praying with others.

And, the impact reached beyond that hour. One person shared a deeper understanding of the need for dedicated prayer time. Another felt they were listening to the Holy Spirit more clearly. Others described feeling restored, filled with God’s presence and peace, and carrying that peace with them throughout the week. Some noticed greater patience and trust in God, along with a renewed habit of offering little prayers throughout the day.

Now, we invite you to experience this time of prayer for yourself.

Join us for our next Prayer Hour on Tuesday, November 3, from 9:00–10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary.

Whether you have joined us before or have never attended, there is a place for you. A printed prayer guide and gentle music will help you spend intentional time with God through reflection, listening, and prayer.

Come as you are. Set aside the distractions of the day and make room to listen, reflect, kneel in prayer, or simply rest in God’s presence. There is no special preparation required—just an open heart and a willingness to spend time with God.

We hope you’ll join us as we make space for God to renew our spirits, deepen our faith, and guide us in our daily lives.
