Women's Ministry | October 2026

🍂 A new season, new opportunities, and time to connect.

Growing Up: Faith Lessons from the Book of James
The Women’s Ministry has begun a new seven-week book study exploring what it looks like to have a faith that doesn’t just believe, but lives. Growing Up: Faith Lessons from the Book of James by Luann Riley walks through one of the most practical books of the New Testament and encourages readers to let God’s Word shape every part of their lives.

Luann holds a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and serves as a pastor at The Woodlands Methodist Church. She is also a speaker and will be a guest speaker for Women’s Ministry in spring 2027. The study meets Thursdays, October 1–November 12, at 10:00 am, with light refreshments each week, time to explore the book and its DVD companion, and plenty of opportunity for fellowship.

Debra Sabrsula, who regularly attends Women’s Ministry, serves on the OHSH Board. Board members will share how OHSH multiplies its members’ annual contributions to make a greater impact through local Christian ministries. The morning will also include refreshments, time together, and fellowship.
